Meet Alexis!

I'm the goofy chic behind the camera. I'm a small biz owner, mom, wife and lifelong designer. If that wasn't enough I battle chronic autoimmune issues everyday. In 2013 we built our first home and I've been sharing everything along the way. I'm so glad to have you along for this crazy journey!

READ MY STORY
  • Our home was built in 2020 with an eye toward clean lines and timeless design. The home's layout is light and open with warm wood tones and white walls. French white oak floors, simple wainscoting and brushed brass fixtures infuse the home with an old world feel.

The main floor features banks of east and west facing windows, allowing tons of light to fill the space. Overhead, wood beams span the length of the living room, drawing the eye to the carved limestone fireplace.

  • The kitchen's white marble counters and backsplash have soft blush pink and grey veins that continue into the adjoining prep kitchen, which hearkens back to old style butler's pantries.

Upstairs, the master bedroom and bathroom are the stars of the show. The master bedroom has vaulted ceilings and full height wainscoting on all walls. The bathroom features herringbone marble floors, custom white oak vanities, a Kallista cast iron tub and stunning Visual Comfort light fixtures.
