Hi, I’m Alexis Austin – home decor content creator, small business owner, and passionate DIYer. In 2013, I launched Curio Press, my small business specializing in handmade custom stationery, all while navigating the challenges of chronic health issues. For eight years, my husband and I lived with my parents, dedicating my energy to growing the business and discovering ways to improve my health.

Fast forward, and Curio Press has flourished into a business that supports a team of incredible women, and I had the privilege of designing and building our first home in St. Louis, MO. With my background in architecture, this home was a true reflection of my personal style and vision. Recently, we made the move to North Georgia, leaving behind that custom-built home for a builder-grade space. I'm on a mission to update and transform it into our dream home, doing all the DIY projects along the way.

While the print world is where I started, design has always been my true passion. My blog and social media are where I get to share that love for design with you, and I’m so glad you’re here to follow along!

01. DREAM VACATION
Our family went to France for a recent vacation. The architecture, food & shopping (!) was incredible. My favorite part of the trip was renting a small home in the countryside. It was hard to leave, but we plan to return! 

02. COMFORT
I crave comfort in all aspects of my life - this includes furnishings AND clothing. Give me a great pair of leggings, warm sweatshirt and a cozy couch (lined with pillows!) and I'll never leave!
03. MY WILD GIRLS
From the amount of white in my house, you'd never believe we have 3 dogs! Izzy, Ladybug and Daisy give us endless amounts of chaos, laughter...and laundry! But we wouldn't have it any other way.

04. MY COFFEE
I'm rarely seen without a mug of coffee in my hand. Jokes have been made that my coffee maker is my best friend. What can I say? No one gets between this girl and her caffeine!
